I usually live and work in New York City. I like to tell stories, make art with others, and laugh.
For me, designing spaces is a process of unearthing people - how they move, what obstacles oppress them, what pathways empower them, what they want, and where they are ultimately going. My process is propelled by an ever-developing series of questions, conversations, and adaptations.
Recent design credits include: Caesar (Philadelphia Theatre Company - co-design with Krit Robinson); Sweeney Todd, The Baker's Wife (Village Light Opera Group); Behind the Mask (American Film Institute); Dad Rock (The Shed); Science Park (The Gym at Judson); Little Women, Annapurna, Sanctuary City (Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble); Natasha, Pierre & the Great Comet of 1812 (New Studio on Broadway, NYU - co-design with Krit Robinson); Zero Grasses: Ritual for the Losses (National Sawdust - co-design with Krit Robinson); Accidental Death of an Anarchist, Stupid Fucking Bird, Romeo and Juliet (NYU3 Festival); The Revolutionists, The Skin of our Teeth, As You Like It (C5 Festival); Set and Reset / Reset (Purchase College, Conservatory of Dance.) Associate design credits include work for: Metropolitan Opera, Norwegian National Opera and Ballet, Lincoln Center Theater, and numerous off-Broadway theaters.
